Crowns off to Noble Farms

Welcome to Noble Farms

We are an indoor urban farm, right here in Tacoma! We are "old school" in our values, how we treat our crew, our retail partners and consumers of our products. And we are "old school" in how we grow.  We carefully hand water, hand tend, hand stake every single plant in our 15 isolated sterilized grow rooms. Our master grower, Chad Koeppe, maniacally obsessed with the art, craft & science, is respected throughout the industry from the medical days. We are committed to staying PESTICIDE FREE! At Noble Farms we strive to "be noble" in everything we do!

Grow Medium: We prefer Coco as we are in full control of what nutrients the plant gets and when the plant gets them.  The Coco we use is made from the Coco pith and coir from the husk of coconuts, which is then grounded down to a fine powder. We use nematodes in the vegetative life of the plant and during flowering we like to keep our Coco sterile and nematode free. Coco gives the final product an earthy aroma unlike other mediums.

Pesticides?: We do use and continue to use natural, organic techniques on our crops (such nematodes and ladybugs). We clone our own Mother plants and do not bring clones in-house. If on a rare occasion we need to add pest control products, they will be OMRI certified organic natural oils or natural ingredients OMRI certified ready, approved by the LCB. We tell the public what we have used on any of our crops on this webpage:

Are we organic?: Organic is a formal certification by the FDA which doesn't yet apply to the cannabis industry. However, we use organic LCB approved pesticides, only on a rare occasion if/when pesticides might be needed. We use living micro-organisms as needed for soil and leaf insects. We use lady bugs in our nurseries and mother rooms. We use sterilized Coco medium. And we use mineral based plant nutrients.

We use a "old school" practices: Our grower and his team hand water every plant every other day like clockwork. They are experienced and trained to lift each plant and determine by the weight how much water is required on that particular water day. Our grow team stakes each plant with bamboo stakes. They do not use netting. Staking allows them to access every plant in each of the 15 grow rooms every day, to customize hand watering to each plant's needs, to check the health of the plants, to turn them if needed, to keep them properly pruned.
